The primary purpose of the Kalamazoo College Touchdown Club is to
empower and engage parents, faculty, alumni, students and friends of Kalamazoo College Football Program to work closely with the Athletic Director, the coaching staff, the cheerleaders, the band, the student body, the business community, K College alumni and the athletes to ensure financial and motivational support for every young person in the program.

Jimmy Semelsberger named to D3football.com Team of the Week


Kalamazoo wide receiver Jimmy Semelsberger, a junior from Bloomfield Hills (Lahser HS), was selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week. Semelsberger caught 11 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown as the Hornets dropped a narrow 36-35 decision to league-leading Trine last week. Semelsberger, who also was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week, leads the MIAA in receptions (43) and receiving yards (532) in conference play. Semelsberger has had over 100 yards receiving in six of the eight games this season. For the season, Semelsberger has 892 yards on 72 catches with six touchdowns.

Semelsberger leads the MIAA in receptions (43) and receiving yards (532) in conference play. He added 18 yards on two punt returns. Semelsberger has had over 100 yards receiving in six of the eight games this season.

Jon Rea named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week for games on Sept 13.


Jon Rea, Kalamazoo College's senior kicker from Bloomfield Hills (Birmingham Brother Rice HS), was selected as the MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week. His 20-yard field goal with two seconds remaining lifted Kalamazoo to a 17-14 win at Rockford (Ill.) on Saturday. Rea also had two extra points, including one that tied the game with three minutes remaining. The game-winning field goal was the second of Rea’s career.
